Problem displaying Object Heading in new attribute

I have a dxl attribute which displays the Object Heading of a parent object. We use this in Verification Matrices so that we don't have to include Ancestors in a filter. It works great in DOORS 8.1, but we just discovered that in DOORS 7.1, if there is anything in parenthesis within the Object Heading, that portion doesn't display.

Example:
Title (Explanation) displays Title

Only in DOORS 7.1. Has anyone seen this happen, or have any suggestions?

Here is the code:

string hdg = obj."Object Heading" ""
Object paro = obj
while ((!null paro) && (hdg == ""))
{
  paro = parent paro
  if (!null paro) {
  hdg = paro."Object Heading" ""
  }
}
string s =  hdg
obj.attrDXLName = s

Have a nagging memory like that.
[] print hdg to make sure you see the parens.
[] Try richText(s)
[] make sure the attr is type Text (or make sure its type String)

Thank, Louie! It was because I wasn't displaying rich text.
